Notes:  Prior to the introduction of the M7CL, the Yamaha DM2000 found its way into to many live applications. Designed as a post-production mixer with some accommodation to live use, it is one of the most powerful digital mixers per dollar available. With so many features, many of which are not used in live situations, it can be difficult for many operators to master. Since it falls in the same price range as the newer M7CL which is specifically designed for live use; the Yamaha DM2000 is losing some of its popularity as a live console. However, in situations where versatility from live to recording to mix down are important, the Yamaha DM2000 is a force to reckoned with.
